Love IQ is sex education for adults. This page explains what we show, what we do not, and how the Coach is kept within those lines.

Draft. Draft for legal review. This text has not yet been checked by a solicitor. Before launch we need to confirm the company details, that the support mailbox is live, the list of service providers and how long each type of data is kept.

What Love IQ is

Frank, warm and evidence-based education about confidence, technique, stamina, communication and keeping a relationship alive. It is written to inform, not to arouse.

What you will see

  • Text lessons, quizzes and short practice exercises.
  • Abstract diagrams such as bars, dials, timelines and simple shapes.
  • Our cartoon mascot, Lovi.

What you will not see

  • Photos or realistic images of people.
  • Nudity or visible genitals.
  • Depictions of sexual acts or contact.
  • Pornographic or erotic stories.

Every lesson and every Coach answer treats consent as ongoing, specific and enthusiastic. We do not teach or discuss anything involving under-18s or non-consensual acts.

Health and safety

Where a topic touches on health, such as pain or ongoing erection problems, the app points you to a GP or sexual health clinic. If a message to the Coach suggests someone is in danger or has been harmed, the Coach responds with support lines instead of coaching.

Our sources

Lessons draw on published research and recognised health guidance. Where a lesson cites a source, you can open the source chip to see it.

Tell us about a problem

If you see something in a lesson or a Coach answer that does not meet these standards, use "Report" on a Coach reply, or contact us through the app so we can review it.
