Who we are
Love IQ is operated by Love IQ Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17557676) and based in London, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Love IQ Limited.
Who can use Love IQ
Love IQ is for adults only. You must be 18 or over to use it. If you are under 18 you must not use the app or create an account.
You confirm that the answers you give when you sign up, including your age, are true.
Educational, not medical advice
Love IQ is an educational app about sex, relationships and confidence. It is not a medical service and it does not give medical, psychological or legal advice.
If you have pain, ongoing problems with erections, arousal or orgasm, or any other health concern, speak to a GP or a sexual health clinic. Never ignore professional advice because of something you read in the app.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details and any passcode secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deleting it removes your data as described in our Privacy policy.
Subscriptions and free trials
Some parts of Love IQ are free. Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks more lessons and features. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
Subscriptions are bought and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly. The store takes payment, renews your plan automatically and handles refunds under its own rules.
- A free trial, where offered, lasts the number of days shown. When it ends, the plan you chose starts and you are charged unless you cancel first.
- To avoid being charged, cancel in your device's subscription settings at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Billing appears on your store statement under the store's name, so it stays discreet.
The AI Coach
The Coach is an AI assistant. Its answers are general and educational and may sometimes be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional advice and are not a substitute for a conversation with your partner or a qualified professional. The Coach is not a therapist, counsellor, doctor or any other licensed professional, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and nothing it says creates a professional relationship. If you are struggling, a GP, an NHS sexual health clinic or a registered psychosexual or relationship therapist can help.
The Coach is designed to put consent first, to decline anything involving under-18s or non-consensual activity, and to point you to a GP, sexual health clinic or a support line when something sounds like a health or safety issue.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Love IQ if you are under 18, or help anyone under 18 to use it;
- use the Coach or any part of the app to produce, request or discuss anything involving under-18s or non-consensual acts;
- copy, scrape, resell or republish our lessons, text or artwork;
- try to break, probe or get around the security, limits or paywall of the app;
- use the app to harass or harm anyone.
Our content
The lessons, text, design, mascot and artwork in Love IQ belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use inside the app. Please do not copy or share them beyond that.
When you share your Love IQ score card, only the score and the app name are shared. You choose whether and where to share it.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to make Love IQ accurate and reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or always available, or that it will give you any particular result.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not a reasonably foreseeable result of our breaking these terms.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the legal rights you have under UK consumer law.
Changes and ending
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. If we make an important change we will tell you in the app. Using Love IQ after a change means you accept the updated terms.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. You can stop using Love IQ whenever you like.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to rely on the law of the country where you live.
