Love IQ is a private app that teaches adults the skills behind great intimacy: confidence, communication, technique and stamina. You take a short quiz, get a personal Love IQ score, then follow a path of short lessons, practice questions and tests that moves that score up.

Adults aged 18 and over, from complete beginners to people who want to refine what they already do. You can use it whether you're single, dating or in a relationship, and lessons are tailored to whether your partner is a woman, a man, or either.

Love IQ is coming soon to iPhone and Android. Use Get launch updates and we'll email you when it goes live.

Most take between three and six minutes, so you can fit one in on a commute or before bed. Each idea is followed by a quick practice question so it sticks.

Your score is built from your quiz answers and then moves as you complete lessons and tests. It's a score out of 200 across four skills: confidence, communication, technique and stamina. It's a learning tool, not a judgement of you.

Coach is on its way. It will let you ask questions privately and get a plain, practical answer. Coach replies come from an AI service, so please don't share names, addresses or anything that identifies you or other people. Vanish mode means the chat isn't kept in your history.

No. Love IQ is written to inform, not to arouse. You'll see text, quizzes, abstract diagrams and our cartoon mascot, Lovi. There are no photos or realistic images of people, no nudity and no depictions of sexual acts. Read our content standards.

No. Love IQ is educational. Where a topic touches on health, such as pain or ongoing erection problems, the app points you to a GP or sexual health clinic. If something worries you, please talk to a clinician.

Consent comes first in every lesson. We teach it as ongoing, specific and enthusiastic, and we don't teach or discuss anything involving under-18s or non-consensual acts.

Lessons draw on published research and recognised health guidance. Where a lesson cites a source, you can open the source chip to see where it came from. Real-world results vary, and we don't promise any particular outcome.

It's built to be. There's no public profile, no feed and no usernames, and nothing is ever posted for you. You can add a passcode lock, choose a plain app icon, and use Vanish mode in Coach. Read more on our discretion page.

No. We never sell your data, we don't share it for advertising, and there are no ads in the app. We use a small number of service providers to run the app, and they only receive what they need.

No. We don't put the text of your answers or Coach messages into analytics tools. Analytics (when you allow it) only counts which screens are used so we can fix where people get stuck.

You can switch to a plain app icon in settings, add a passcode lock, and the app is designed to keep notification wording neutral. The app is still called Love IQ.

Yes. The annual plan includes a 3-day free trial. During the trial you can try everything except the Hall of Fame masterclasses, with up to five new lessons a day.

Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel there, in your subscription settings. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.

Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their policies. If you have trouble, contact us and we'll help where we can. Your statutory rights are not affected.

No. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because that sits with Apple or Google. Cancel in your store settings first, then delete your account.

In the app, go to Profile and choose Delete account. You can also email us. Full steps are on our delete your account page.

Yes. Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Email us with “Data request” in the subject. See our privacy policy.

Use “Report” on a Coach reply, or contact us. We review every report.
